Some pictures

I'm just posting a few photos so I don't feel like a total slacker.
Here's one of Hailey cause she just looks so old to me in this pic.
H & H got new bike helmets with gift cards from one of Ben's work friends-you think they were excited? Hunter still wears his around for the better part of the day.
Hunter had so much fun playing with his friend Danny while they were here. We've missed you guys!
Here's one of my three kiddos...it's impossible for everyone to look at the camera

Blessing day

Well, here's another overdue post. Somehow whenever I have "free time" I waste it on facebook or I take a nap. Strange. Anyway...just 6 days after Taylor was born she got blessed at church. It seemed like the ideal time cause we had overlap with family being in town and were able to have my niece Megan's baptism on the same weekend. In retrospect I might have planned it a little later so I didn't have to look back at some of that extra baby weight in the photos...oh well...so without further ado, here they are.

The new family picture
It was nice to have two of our sets of grandparents there.
With Grandma Susan and Papa Ken
With Grandma Nette and Papa Ted
The whole group just before Megan's baptism
The two girls on their special day-thanks Megan for sharing it with Taylor
I thought this picture was really cute-saying goodbye to grandma and papa.

Introducing:Taylor Erin

She's 12 days old-guess it's time Taylor makes her blogosphere debut. "Baby sis" was born on Monday March 8 at 8:45 am. She was born via c-section which some would say is fortunate as she was a healthy 9 lbs and 20 inches. We did not settle on a name until we were in the hospital parking lot preparing to leave on Thursday afternoon. She's a sweet girl and is sporting lots of dark hair. At a Dr.'s checkup at 9 days old she was already up to 9 lbs 7 oz-way to go super eater! Hailey and Hunter really like her and constantly want to hold her/help out. Though we'll have to figure out how to help the boy not feel too displaced being moved to middle child status (he's been using baby talk and seems to have tuned out mommy almost completely).
We loved getting lots of visitors at the hospital. Lets see if I can remember all of them--thanks mom, Tiff, Jake, Matt, Sharon, Jackie, Anne, Rex, Terri, and Kate. You guys are great!

A proud grandma-I think this is number 24...
Taylor snuggling with uncle Matt-he didn't believe she ever opened her eyes...

The big kids happy to have mom and Taylor home
Here's a pic I attempted to take to put on my calendar-yes I probably should take a photography class-but at least the subject matter is cute!
Up next...blessing day!

Biker girl

So I dropped off my family to work on some bike riding and when I came back this is what I found. My big girl figured out how to ride a two-wheeler (I may have teared up a little bit when I saw it). I don't know if you can hear it in the video, but the whole time she is riding she is repeating to herself, "I can ride my big girl bike all by myself". Way to go Hailey!

*here's my update on 2/15-I don't know why the stinking video doesn't seem to be working. Let me know if it works for you or just take my word for it, it was cute.

I've been told its time to post again

I don't know what that's about...like I've neglected my blog or something...
So, what have we been up to here? Hm. I've just been busy growing a baby. I feel plumpy (like in Madagascar 2). We've got less than a month till baby sis makes her debut. I'm kinda nervous. Can I really do this 3 kid thing? Too late now! Mwahahaha.
So I can't believe I'm posting this...but I'm in a brave mood, so here's me at right around 36 weeks...I may have swallowed a basketball.
Here's a picture that Hailey took a while ago of Ben and me, somehow I managed to hide my entire belly. Nice.
This is kinda random, but here is a picture of Hailey and her friend Maryan from when we went to dinner at Chuys a few weeks back. Hunter got to go on a scout campout with daddy. We got to go out to eat. I like our end of the deal better...
Last month we took the kids to the zoo on free day. We went at the end of the day so daddy could come too. It was still crowded, but we got to see some cool animals and we had lots of fun. Of course my favorite part may have been the cotton candy we got at the end of our trip...
I like these kids
This picture was so funny because I was setting up the camera to take a picture of the kids and myself while Ben was in the bathroom. I guess he came out just in time because right as the camera flashed I felt this extra person join our picture...
Also, my great friends threw me a baby shower this past weekend and I hope to obtain and post some pictures from that soon.
